We finished our first coop yesterday. I let my husband take the lead on it since he isn't all that thrilled with chickens. He does what he can to make his crazy wife happy and I do what I can to make sure he doesn't regret it. He mostly used stuff he had laying around. We did buy the privacy fence for the run, but I think everything else is found. The bottom we used a counter top we had for reasons I forget. The roosts I think he has to change to 2x4's.
This isn't our forever coop. Someday I hope to have my fancy chicken coop with flower boxes and curtains.
