First couple feathers

Well, my 2 Buff Orpingtons have started to push out 'real' feathers, aside from their wings. Is there a special name for this phase?

It is so cute to see them flap their wings and stretch them, especially when they stick their leg out behind them to stretch it.

PS, the 2 Black Australorps have yet to start putting out real feathers - they should be coming soon though right? They are almost 3 weeks old.

My 6 BRs are about 2 weeks old and when they stretch out like that, it looks like they're doing chicken yoga, ha ha!
