First crowing

I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW WHAT MAKES ONE STOP CROWING. WHEN I FIRST GOT HIM HE WAS CROWING THEN ABOUT 2 MONTHS AGO HE JUST STOPED. THEN SOMEONE SUGGESTED THAT WE GET ANOTHER ROO WHICH WE DID SO HE WOULD HAVE COMPETITION WITH THE LADIES. BUT THAT DIDN'T WORK. STILL NOT CROWING.

Count your blessings! A rooster that doesn't crow? Priceless! Crowing drives me crazy. Yes it is a real cool country sound, but not in the middle of the night and all day long.

One of mine did his first last night and then several other times right after. I recorded it on my phone and texted to the wife..

mine are now around the 17 to 19 week mark. Funny watching it looks like was straining so hard for not so much coming out...

Our "Romeo" started crowing last week and I LOVE it! My flock is locked inside their coop at night and we let them out around 6:30-7 and then like clock work 45 minutes later he belts it out. 15 in a row this morning....it's good we live in the country!!
