First day and 21st day

I was curious what you all consider the first day, and what you consider the 21st day. If the day you place the eggs in the bator is considered #1, then 21 days later would be the day before 3 weeks. But if you consider the day after as #1 then the 21st day would be a day later. Does that make sense? So then, what day do you stop turning...18 or 19? I hope I confused eveyrone on this one.

I count the first 24 hours as the first day.

For example: on 4/8 I set eggs at 11 am, I count 4/9 as day 1, so on 4/26 I enter lockdown and on the 29th I should have pipping and zipping.
