(by accident)
One of my laying hens got into their pen while I was changing water and scared all 6 chicks out. I let mama out when we couldn't catch the babies and she just got more and more worked up.
So, mama spent the afternoon teaching them all 'bout hunting bugs, scratching, and dust baths, and just laying in the sun.
Even papa, George, came over to check things out and join in the dust bath.
I think I was worse than mama hen keeping an eye on the other hens making sure they didn't hurt the chicks.
I think they got the hang of it.
