First egg, and then 10 days later still no second egg!

My RIRxEE layed her first egg 10 days ago at 21 weeks old. The problem is, she hasn't layed an egg since! I mean usually they lay their second egg two or three days later but now 10 days later, still no egg! Why is she not laying??? All the other hens she is with are laying, despite the rather high temperatures. Her half sister started laying only 3 days ago and I got her second egg today.

Each girl is different. Have you felt her abdomen to see if you can feel an egg? If it's hot out, she may not be eating (or drinking) enough to make an egg. Now that you've complained about it, you'll probably get another egg from her today.
