first egg, and three days later nothing

Hello, chicken wisdom.
I found our first egg on Monday, and haven't found any since. It was laid in the grass so I wonder if I should be scouring
for a hidden nest. I've done a once around in the yard every day, but haven't seen anything. Or is it normal to go this long between eggs in the beginning?

Start searching for a hidden nest. It is not at all unusual for egglaying to be sporadic this time of year.
