Boy was I surprised to find an egg this evening! I just got these girls and wasn't expecting them to start laying yet, and I was actually planning on putting a light with a timer out there to give them more daylight. Well, I guess they didn't care...I'm so pumped! Now, what to do with it?!?! A cockerel is out there with them, so I guess it could be fertile...first egg, I hate to eat it...LOL! So, with only one egg, what should I do? Frame it in a little box frame? HAHAHA j/k
Sure is a little smaller than I expected even knowing they were smaller than regular eggs.
