First Egg from my first flock

My Carmine hen laid her first egg on Sunday. It's now Tuesday and we haven't seen another egg. Is this normal?

I know egg production can vary by breed but when should I worry?

Congratulations on your first egg, and don't worry. Production can be all over the place at the beginning of a laying cycle.

Are you expecting her to be a daily layer? Because most breeds aren’t. Also agree with @sourland about newly-laying pullets.
