This last July I bought 15 pullets and 13 laying hens and a rooster. As the pullets got a little older I found that one was a rooster. Today I got my first egg from the pullet's coop. They are Golden Laced Wyandote and they were 4 to 6 weeks old when I got them July 22. If they become consistent layers I am going to be collecting around 2 dozen eggs a day between the different groups of chickens.
