First Egg from Pullets

This spring in March I got four more chickens, 2 Black Australorps, 1 Buff Orpington, and 1 Easter Egger (Raven, Leia, Buffy, and Edith). I already have twenty hens but you know chicken math lol. In my defense it was my sister who got them for my birthday. This week they will be 21 weeks. So last week on July 31st, Raven laid her first egg.

And then yesterday, Edith (EE) laid her first egg. I was thinking that with my luck her egg would probably be brown, but it's more amazing than I had pictured in my mind! Yay Also, she laid her egg in the nestbox which is a plus.

YIm waiting for my 22 wk old pulleys to start laying. I am not the best at waiting, but they will lay in there own time. Have several I hatched that aren’t nearly ready yet so maybe January.

GOT one egg tonight a small dark brown egg, maybe from our Marans hen, then had one Marans and one lavender Orpington hatch tonight. Good day I say. Thanks
