We bought Buttercup from a lady who ordered 25 pullets from Cackle and woke up a few weeks ago with WAY too many eggs for her 3 person family!
She is an "Ameraucana" (which from a hatchery means Easter Egger) But the very first day we brought her home she laid a gorgeous green egg. What a thrill! Here she is.
So far she is definately a keeper, unless I wake up in 3 months with WAY too many eggs for my 6 person family!
