First Egg not in Eggbox

Hi,

I finally got my first egg, but it was not laid in the eggbox. Can I attribute this to a newbie mistake or do I need to be concerned about it. (The eggbox is filled with clean pine-shavings.)

Try putting golf balls in the nest, your chickens will think that some one else has dropped their egg there and that it must be a good spot.
