I have several hens that are laying but three that have not started yet. I don't know if this could be a first egg? I've been feeding oyster shell and laying pellets? Any input would be appreciated.

Could be a first egg, if you have any hens that are moulting it is more likely from one of them as the moult is so draining on them that they usually stop/slow laying. My moulting hens have layed a few odd shaped eggs, a few teeny eggs and one without a shell like yours. If they are getting layers pellets and oyster shell i wouldn't be worried about calcium deficiency.

Soft shells, and other oddities, can be pretty common within the first month or so of laying.
