first egg question?

so we went into the coop today and found an egg.

we dont know when it was laid we changed the water on thursday. no egg then so its been in there between that time. the egg was cool to the touch. but dont know if we can eat it or not its been getting about 95 here everyday. is it ok to eat. also its really big compared to others that i have seen there first egg it was about the same size a store bought large egg.
