First egg today! Can you help me decide which breed layed it?

I have two Blue Orp. Bantam pullets and two Barred Rock Bantam pullets in a pen. Today we got the first egg. It is a light, light tan, almost white. Now, I thought both breeds layed brown eggs, but I know "brown" can vary a lot. Which breed do you think would lay the lighter eggs?

my buff orp lays a very light light brown egg.

i think the orps eggs will be lighter... i dont have any of my own so i cant say for sure but i do have BRs and they are a nice brown some lighter than others but brown for sure. i would guess it was the blue orps egg...

maybe with this bump we'll get some more experience peeps to add their opinion....


oh and

on the egg!! now the fun begins!!

Rocks usually lay a medium brown egg, Orpingtons usually lay a light creme colored egg.
