First egg today!!!

YEA!!! One of my girls that were born 6-20-2015 laid her first egg today 10-5-2015!!
My Barred Rock are the largest of the girls followed by the Black Australorps. My RIR girls seem to be the smaller of the 3.

No matter it is very satisfying that my girls are happy and going to start laying!!!!!

Getting that first egg is always a special time. I've read that some people blow out the egg and keep the shell of that first egg.
