First egg from my ISA Browns at 17 weeks and 2 days old.
Surprisingly it wasn't the pullet that squatted last week.
I was making improvements to the coop when she laid an egg.
Here she is when she left the nest. 20200827_101621_resized.jpg , and the egg from inside the coop. 20200827_101631_resized.jpg The white egg is ceramic.
Looking from outside. 20200827_102802_resized.jpg .
This is my 3rd flock and the largest first egg ever. 2.1 ounce/60 grams.
I have 4 more ISA Browns and waiting for that first egg. One of which is also checking out the nest boxes. GC
