First egg today!!

Went out to the coop this afternoon and Precious was in the nesting box arranging her hay. After she got it just right, she settled in and wasn't long before she laid her first egg. This is also my first egg Don't know who was the most excited, me or Precious.I have 6 sex links and hoping that the others will follow suit pretty soon. The egg was small, but perfect.

great im waiting for my chicks to lay there first egg too but it wont be my first time collecting an egg just so you know if one of your chickens lay a rubber egg that's normal.
just wanted to ask you how old your chicken is?

She'll be 17 weeks tomorrow. I was surprised that the egg was so perfect, especially being the first.
