Yay!! I’ll be watching this post for more info. I’m a new chicken mom, my girls are about 12 weeks old and not laying yet but their combs are turning very red which I thought was early.

The hen is an easter egger. We have 2 other easter Eggers. This chick hatched Feb 18. Yesterday, the day the egg was laid there were 2 usual size easter Eggers eggs and this one so it seems that it was her. We only have 3 hens that lay green eggs. Our other easter Eggers laid exactly at 20 weeks and this hen is 16 weeks.

And it wasn't a fluke because we just got mini egg #2 from the same lady.
