Our Exchequer leghorn Wanda laid her first egg Monday, my husband was pacing up and down like an expectant father when she disappeared into the coop! "It's been 10 mins, it's been 15minutes, it's been 1/2 hour now" was all I heard! Finally she came out and there was loads of squawking and running up and down the garden (and that was just my husband!) I was straight on the phone to everyone who'd been wondering if we were doing everything right! It makes you feel good though and quite proud!
