First egg!

I just received my first egg! I would post a picture, but I ate it before I could take one! It was delicious! I've never had an egg that tasted so good... It was thick and carroty and rich and such a beautiful golden yellow. It was laid by a Leghorn-Sussex cross, and it was such a lovely light brown! I'm SO proud of my hen!

That's really cool, I hope she keeps laying non-stop! Mine just layed her first egg, last week, feels great collecting them! I give her treats every time I get an egg.
