First Egg??

Hi all, I posted about my goose possibly laying her first egg a few days ago but now I am concerned that it is not an egg but something else going on. I noticed her abdomen was swollen on Wednesday so I had a good look at her underside probably for the first time. I am not sure what it is supposed to look like but her cloaca is clearly visible especially when she has a bowel movement. If you are standing behind her you can clearly see a large red circle when she poops which I have never noticed before. So I am not sure if this is normal or if it is swollen down there. Apart from this she seems normal, isn’t looking for a nest site or trying to push an egg out or anything like that. She is however drinking more than usual and in turn having runnier droppings. I am giving mazuri waterfowl maintenance feed and just started offering oyster shell in the past few days. It is probably me just worrying too much but just thought I would check with you all first. She laid her first egg last night.

To me it sounded as if she was getting ready to lay. Glad that everything is okay.
