First Egg

Ok. I'm a little excited today as my one

17 week old Sapphire Olive Egger laid her first egg!! Wasn't expecting it and we had taken down the nesting boxes to fix the automatic door so the egg was laying on the floor in the straw this morning!! So cool and what a lovely shade of green it is!!

Thanks everyone! She's continued to lay almost every day since although they have been fairly small so far. Not sure whether they'll continue to be this size??
