First egg

We were all so surprised and google tells me that the odds for that are 1 in 1000. Today we went up to collect the eggs and we have a super huge green one. We cracked it open and it was a triple yolker!! Turns out the odds for that are about 1 in 25 million!! We are in shock right now. Sorry to brag but I’m just really proud of my chickens

Double yolkers are quite common for pullets just starting to lay. As a matter of fact, ANYTHING is common when they start to lay. Her next egg might be the size of a quail egg.
I’ve never seen a triple yolker though. Now that’s how to lay an egg! Hope your chicken is OK.

That's crazy! I have had chickens for over 3 years and never even gotten a double yolk. So cool!
