First egg!

We found our first egg in our ducks’ pool this afternoon! It’s a weird shell-less one. What can we do to help her gain some shells? She has oyster shell and meal worms every day. Anything else we can do?

Someone recently suggested vitamin D since it helps absorb calcium.

With that being a first egg I would not be concerned as long as they are getting oyster shell. Some etimes things don’t go just right. If it happens again in the hear future, try giving calcium glucanate but others would have to give you the dosage .

that's not uncommon for first eggs, also you might see little tiny eggs too called "fart or fairy" eggs. I wouldn't worry about it at all like @Texag87 said.
