First egg!

After 22 weeks, we finally got our first egg! It was from Pearly. My sweet little scaredy cat and the late bloomer. I wonder when the other girls will start laying.

I blew out the shell of my first egg, so I could save it. It was tiny - 17 grams. I smile whenever I see it.

How about making a scrambled egg? Then everyone could have a nibble and know what a treasure it is. Or hard boiled, with tiny bits served on toothpicks.

I am trying to figure out which hens are laying. I know my Cinnamon Queen is the darker egg but just this past weekend we got our second egg. I have a Cinnamon Queen, Rhode Island Red, and Golden Wyandotte and a Salmon Favorolle. I have seen all of them in the nesting box except my golden and all of them except my golden are squatting. I was hoping someone could help me out!
