First egg!

I have a couple of light bramas, a couple of barred rocks and a couple of cream legbars. I know the legbars will have green/blue eggs. Can anyone give me an idea about whether this very first egg from my flock is from a barred rock or the Brahma. The brahmas (24 weeks old) are a month older than the barred rocks (20 weeks old). I have one barred rock who is pretty red-faced with the most developed comb and waddles.

Most likely the Barred Rock's egg. Also did you mean the Brahmas are 24 weeks old, not 24 months old?

Most likely the Barred Rock's egg. Also did you mean the Brahmas are 24 weeks old, not 24 months old?

Probably from the barred rocks, Brahmas mature slower.
