I’m so excited! I got my very first egg this afternoon from my first ever flock of chickens. They all are 17 weeks. One of my EE was my first layer. Just bummed she gave me a brown egg 🤪. Photo credit, she’s the far left.

Are you sure those are Easter Eggers? They look an awful lot like Sapphire Gems to me. Mind if I ask @MysteryChicken what they think? I'm no pro but I do have Sapphire Gems. The color of legs and the comb types are throwing me off a bit, I admit.
The bird in the middle is an Easter Egger. The other two on each side of it look to be Sapphire Gems.

I'm even confused by the leg colors. The middle one does have (I think!) a pea comb, or at least NOT a single comb, but she has yellow legs. EEs generally have willow-green or slate blue-grey legs, which I *think* the outer two have, but they have single combs.🤯

Of course, EEs being mutts, I guess they're going to sometimes show traits from random ancestors. Mine has green legs and a pea comb, but no head tuft, cheeks, or beard.

Pretty birds congrats on your first egg!

easter eggers are just a name for a mutt so they can look like anything, but I believe most places use Amerucanas to create easter eggers and that's why most usually have a beard, pea/kinda pea comb and slate legs.

none the less tho she is very pretty tho!!
