I've mentioned before that Whitey Duck does not sit her nest, so the hens have been,,, with help from the roos too! Last night I went to count the eggs in her nest and lo and behold in the middle of the huge duck eggs was a little bitty chicken egg! The size of the Corturnex quail eggs! I'm not sure who laid it,, but it was exciting for me! When I catch the nest unguarded again, I'll get a quick pic.
