What is really funny is that last night I dreamed again of the girls starting to lay. Went out and found all kinds of striped and spotted eggs, then DD went out to let them out for the day and there it was

I have ten who are old enough to start soon, 4 red sexlinks, 4 generic "reds" from TSC, and 2 EE's. Since it is brown, I'm assuming it is one of the red girls, but not sure who.
There are several who have begun their "squatting" behavior when we approach them, which I hear is a sign of sexual maturity. We got them about the 3rd week of March as new peeps.

Now I have to go buy them big girl food instead of baby food I guess!

I found our first tonight when I tucked the girls in. Guess it's time to install that nest box a couple of weeks earlier than I'd planned!

We also got our first egg today! So excited it is silly as we only got the girls on Saturday we were expecting to wait at least a month.
