I just went out to the coop and saw my 18 1/2 week old barred rock laying in the nest box panting..... So I took pics and went inside and reported the news to BYC..... Then I decided to go back out and found my first teeny tiny egg...... I looks like a bantam egg it is so small.... 
The funny thing is is that I have been posting and waiting for forever for this egg lol.... so im on BYC getting more info on when others started laying and what do you know....
