first egg

the wait is over we have our first egg only one of seven hens laying but i know the rest will catch up, they must know I went to the garndier chicken stock, they figured they better start putting out or be replaced,they are about 23 weeks old so a little behind the 20 week mark but things are looking up. looking forward to spring chicken stocks need 4 -5 more ladies
to add to the flock,

COngratulations!!! We were so excited, We even took a pic when we got our first egg!
There's nothing quite like getting that little lump of gold to prove that all your hard work & efforts didn't go to waste, eh?

We got our 1st egg yesterday. It seemed like eternity. I got the chicks on June 16 so, I guess they were right on schedule.
