I have been patiently waiting for my 20 week old hens to start laying. The signs were showing - squatting, mature combs and sitting in the nesting boxes. Anyday now....
I will post pics on the sticky, however, Lucile's egg is the most beautiful shade of blue, almost like that of a Robin's egg.
Does this mean she is an Ameracauna or Auracauna? I bought her as a chick from Ideal as an Ameracauna/Easter Egger(see their description). She has muffs and although some say it is not correct a little V under her neck. Her legs are a slate color.
