Man i'm so excited.
I've hatched 3 lots of quail now but none from my own eggs.
Actually i lie.. my mum incubates all of them at her house because she owns the incubator but i have 14 of my big babies eggs in there atm. They are due on 9th Feb 2010.
I just wanted to come and share. They're all looking good so far. No exploding ones like i had last time. I have candled any of them though because i never manage to see anything normally! Admittedly i dont have a proper candler but... hmm.... any ideas as to something that works really well though would be great.
Alrighty well.... hopefully you guys are keen to share my excitement even though i'm new.
I generally sleep over at mums for the night or so before the babies hatch ( even though i'm a grown woman with 3 kids of my own lol...) I just sit and stare at the eggs for hours waiting for every last pip and crack and pop and awwww..... It Of course makes the whole process go by soo much faster if you do it that way
hehe
Ok well... i'm blurbing sorry.
Will hopefully be back next week with photos assuming all goes well * crosses fingers*
