First eggs of the year in the UK?

Hi,
When would you expect your Ducks to start laying after Winter in the UK?

I am in North Shropshire and we had (found) our first Duck Egg on the 6th of Feb we are now getting pretty much one a day.

Quick update.

Our ducks hatched 4th October 2012.

First duck laid 6th March 2013.

Still waiting for the second to start.

We're assuming it's the white Duck laying, as the eggs are whitish in colour.

Should we be expecting green/blue eggs from our black Duck??

what breed? Runner, Pekin? and what breed is the blk? I understand runners can lay a greenish colored egg. you need to post some pics of them now that they have grown up.

On Wednesday (6th of March) all five of our ducks laid eggs on the same day and all in the shed before we let them out.
That's a first for us

They even beat our Eleven Chickens and I have no idea when the Chickens will all lay on the same day

This week it been Ducks 17 eggs Chickens about 5!

what breed? Runner, Pekin? and what breed is the blk? I understand runners can lay a greenish colored egg. you need to post some pics of them now that they have grown up.

they are adorable, is the white one a white campbell looks too tall to be pekin, and maybe blk swede or mix. I don't know just guesses but they sure are cute. blk one could be runner mix/
