First eggs, ok to incubate?

I am reposting this....somehow wherever I stated small egg, the post showed small rooster. Sorry



I will be starting the incubator probably Saturday or Sunday. I am currently out of town, but my oldest son says that we have begun to get some small eggs. I have 8 Buff Orp hens and my guess is that one of the girls has just begun laying. Can these smaller than the rest eggs be incubated or is that simply a waste of time? Thanks...

I did. My one silkie hen just started to lay about 2 weeks ago. I took her first 6 eggs and 5 are developing.

again why not, what will it hurt if you do incubate it?
