First Eggs - Question

Thanks for the breed identification. My friend who also has chickens was just telling me about the earlobes.

We cracked open the biggest of the eggs and it had two yolks. Yet another pleasant surprise.

I got the chickens from the mixed pullet bin at Tractor Supply, so I was just guessing based on what people said on here before. Here's a pic of one of the ladies.

HAHA! It's so funny that a brown egg came out of one of these girls! What a surprise!!!

I also got my first egg two days ago but it keeps laying them on the floor, how do i get them to lay in the nest box

Hilltop Farm- I didn't have to do anything special to get them to lay in the box. Whoever's laying started doing it on their own. I did read on here that you can put golf balls or plastic eggs into the nest box and they will get the idea.
