First eggs, Size

My new layer's first two eggs were gigantic. Cracked one open this morning and its a double Yorker! Sadly, only her first two eggs were this big. Now they're normal sized.

I figured it was a new layer thing since it didn't last. Couldn't believe how big those first two were.

I got an egg once that was huge. It was an egg inside of an egg and both were double yolks.
