First eggs today

we just got our first egg yesterday too!! not as big as i hoped...actually quite small for a wyandotte, but it is still an egg!! we were waiting a long time for this...also, what is a meat spot? i think we had one..

Congrats! This gives me hope that my first eggs from my newer girls are coming soon! I live down the road from you in Montverde, so that means the weather/daylight time is good in our area. My girls are 22 weeks old today. Bring on the eggs!

So I went outside around 12:00 today and found one of my NHRs laying an egg! Her first one! Yippee!

I still enjoy going into the chicken house every day to find all those great eggs!!
