I just got my first two eggs! I don't know who layed them and the used their nest box same one lol. Can you eat their first eggs and what about one that is ever so slightly cracked?

Congrats! I had a third but It was broke and on top of the nest box under the roost. I think she dropped it from the roost. Silly girl.Our red sex linked laid her first egg yesterday!! We think she laid it right at 4 months of age. We are proud of her. She showed all the symptoms. Her waddle and comb got bigger and redder and she would immediately squat when attempting to pet. It is a little small, but we understand it is her first. We will talk to her about thinking about putting out bigger ones. lol
