My RI's started lating today, I got 5 total, one was pale white with a brown spot on it instead of completely brown. I thought Rhodies laid large eggs, these are small.

Yes, the first eggs from a hen are always small.
They won’t be “large” until the hen is at least a year old.

well it's been 40 years since I been around chickens. I grew up on a farm, but I joined the Marines at 17,,,,26 years later i retired. I finally moved back to the country and bought a farm...I forget everything I know about raising animals.
