First Eggs!

I got my first egg! Followed quickly by another the next day. I was told to expect weird shapes, sizes and colours but these 2 are perfect! So proud of my 2 clever ladies

Beautiful eggs - makes me hungry, but I just had a midnight snack of 3 ice cream bars, and 2 packages of snack-energy mix and a couple of Tums(for indigestion) so almost ready for bed.

Lucky, lucky you. I know you are so proud. Be alert for small tiny egg or over sized egg.

Our two girls are off until Spring. I have about two cartons to last a while but that is it.

Two hens is molting now and one just started weeks ago. Hope she gets her feather back in before it starts to get cold. Other started molting in July, second year to do this, this early.
