first eggs

My 6 month old Austra White laid her first eggs!
Should I take them or should she keep sitting on them because she wants to be sitting on them.
I dont know if they may be fertile because our rooster is 6-7 months old. And I have heard if the eggs stay there for a long time she may eat the egg.

What should I do? Leave her to incubate it? Should I incubate the eggs? Or should I take the egg to eat it? (which I dont want to do)

She most likely is not broody just because she laid her first egg. I'd remove the eggs and eat them!

But she is just sitting on the all the time

I wouldnt let her sit on them if it's her first egg. Those usually arent great for hatching. Also, mine kind of just sat in shock after that first egg. I just grabbed the egg and let them sit. They left the box eventually.

You can candle them to see if they're any good. That's if you want babies. If you dont then you need to collect them and break her from being broody.
