I thought I heard an egg song this morning from the older girls (who are 20 1/2 weeks) but when I checked the nesting boxes they were still empty. Then later, I was opening their door so they could free range and spotted a hollowed out place in the back under the outdoor roosting bars. And we're off!

Wow, they're big for their first eggs! :thumbsup
I need your tips my first eggs are small.
No idea! The bigger egg had two yolks. I have been feeding them chick start/grower feed because it's high in protein and they've been steadily eating the crushed oyster shell and egg shell I've been putting out. We had these over seafood risotto cakes. Definitely the most expensive breakfast I've ever had!
