Went to go check on the girls after I got home from work and what did I spy, 2 little eggs. I guess I should start calling them ladies now.

Only 2 for now, hoping to get more from the other ladies. I only have 5 hens but that should be enough to support my family's egg habit. Now I have to go build them a nest box (yes they were on the coop floor) and change them to layer feed this weekend.
For the stats keepers: it took 18 weeks for the first eggs. Those first 2 are about $30 each. They will come down in price once they start laying on a regular basis.
