First eggs

I got my first egg two days ago, and another one today the girls are 4 months old thought they were still a little young, is this normal. and they been laying them in the floor in front of the door, i have wooden eggs in there nest box, how do i get them to lay in the box or does this come with time

Sometimes it comes with time, sometimes chickens lay where they want. If your nest box is moveble you could try putting it on the floor and moving it every couple of days until you get it into the spot you want it
