First eggs

Our small flock has begun laying.

Question that I can't seem to find the answer for. Do you generally eat the first couple of eggs, or wait for a couple of eggs to be laid first?

Reason I ask is because I've read about the first eggs possibly coming out in odd shapes. Ours are perfect looking. I think they could get a bit bigger, but I understand that will just take some time. Haven't cracked any open yet.

I eat them all. (OK, I don't eat the ones that cracked on the ground)

I love the oddly shaped ones, so much fun.

They were small also but still just as good.

I cracked mine open in a bowl before I ate them. I wanted to make sure there wasn't anything weird in them. They were fine so I ate them
