First Flock - ? cyst

Goldie's cyst came back exactly one month after it was drained! The vet drained it again (for free), if it fills up again he wants to remove it! I hope it doesn't come back!

Poor baby! So glad she has someone who cares and looks after her! Your lab sounds awesome! We have a lab as well. Ours is a 12 yo (dark) yellow lab. He's a great protector for our family (he's chased away bears and coyotes), but he stares intently at the chickens and licks his lips! When we made our plans for our coop and run - the main predator we proofed against was him! lol

JC, did the vet say was the cyst was?

Our Chocolate lab drools over our chickens too!! The vet said he isn't sure. The first time we had it drained the checked the fluid and it just came back with red blood cells. This time the same thing. when it fills up it is round and soft and the liquid that is drained out of it is clear. Its so strange.
