first flock of adults chickens need help learning what they are

OK I bought all 14 of my friends adults chickens because she was done. Her dogs wouldn't leave them alone. I'm trying to find out what they are I'd like to get some roosters to go w them and out them in their own runs. I haven't had much luck w responses but I fugured its worth a try
